White people make a lot of money doing black music this is nothing new. We will support them over our own we turn into uncle toms when it comes to white people doing our music. They stole rock from us this way.

The thing is white people buy albums. They pre-order on itunes and amazon in large numbers. Those who buy dictate the industry. It's called analytics. Adele selling well tells the music industry that whites love when talented white artists does what was once considered "black" music. When Bobby Brown went diamond, we were the ones fueling the initial sales then white jumped on the bandwagon. It's reason the music industry tried to cater to our taste more. When Mariah Carey came out, they made sure she dropped a soul RnB album. If she came out today, she would be pushed into the pop lane.

Right now, white people are slowly taking over RnB to the point they can't tell the difference between RnB and pop. Look at Bruno Mars...he is talented and does a lot soul and RnB music. But some consider him to be pop. A young white kid born in 90s can't tell the difference anymore because a lot of white artists are doing RnB influenced songs and its being called pop. A lot of swagga jacking is going on, but we are partly at fault for letting it happen.
