When did blacks as a group stop referring to each other as brother or sister ?

I don’t understand what’s wrong with breh. It’s the same thing except more hip I think it’s actually more common black men are saying that to eachother than nikka. Atleast in my area. Haven’t heard sister or sista in a while tho
