Eddie had some many hits early. He went in another direction. And he spend most if his time chilling making music.

He signed that contract with Disney and they gave him some pretty horrible films too.

It's weird how some folks think you're suppose to work for 40 years non-stop even when you hit it big and become a multi-millionaire within 20 years. Eddie doesn't have to make non-stop straight to DVD movies to pay his bills. If OP hit the lotto for 100 million, something tells me he wouldn't still be going to his 9-5.

I love Eddie Murphy. 80s-90s Eddie was a GOAT and unstoppable. After that....y'all need to stop lying, he did fall off for making bad choice movies.

His biggest came back was Dreamgirls til he went back to do some dumb shyt films shyt had me :snoop:

I think Eddie don't care about it anymore, just to collection his pay check.

There's a reason why Eddie refuses to do stand up comedy anymore cause he doesn't have it in him anymore.

Bucktown, U.S.A. (Harlem, NY) + 'Cuse, NY
He's got plenty of timeless classic movies (Beverly Hills Cop 1&2, Trading Places, 48HRS, Coming To America, Harlem Nights, Boomerang, Vampire In Brooklyn etc).

As far as him falling off...imo he fell off after Vampire In Brooklyn :yeshrug: I know Nutty Professor is looked as his comeback but that movie has always been :ehh:, I never really liked it.

His best years are from '82-'95 imo :yeshrug: everything after those years are hit or miss... mainly misses and he hasn't recovered since.
