Bad movie choices that didn’t pay off over the last few years. I was literally thinking about that movie Meet Dave & Pluto Nash...
the concept was there it just didn’t fully follow through. Maybe it was the writing or the promotion.. maybe it was just timing...The only movies he has done over the last decade people fukk with is Dreamgirls & Norbit. One is an Oscar winning musical movie adaptation, the other is Eddie in a fat suit where the jokes land. Did it do good in the box office, like Meet Dave & Pluto Nash, no, it too was considered a flop... but it was only revived by most likely word of mouth.

Honestly the same can be said about Martin’s career outside of Bad Boys... how many movies and projects overall has he done that is considered top of the line successful projects?
That show he did with Kelsey Grammar? His cameo in the Big Sean video? Blue Streak?

They had their stride, in order for them to gain it back it’s gonna be the people who truly ride with them to get it to happen. The same way Norbit is a classic although it was a box office flop.

I refuse to acknowledge Mr. Church.
S/n:
Vampire in Brooklyn is hilarious. Kadeem Hardison needs to be this due for his role of being the stooge in that movie. That man’s body was literally falling apart in 80% of the movie.

Underrated recent(ish) movies he did that were for the Dr Dolittle base were Imagine That & 1000 Words. Both decent movies, and writing wasn’t bad but the reception wasn’t there. Like literally wholesome movies with an actual lesson about saying less and listening more to become a better person and how to better connect with your daughter in a already strained relationship.

Sometimes the audience is just whack.
