Mr. Church is classic. Def a must watch for yall
Okay. I’ll bite. What about the movie makes it good? Let alone a classic? I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic cause i turned the movie off within 10 min... so I never gave it a chance to determine if it’s really worth it

Eddie showed crazy range in that joint. It's a story within a story. Hard to comment without giving the story away. Give it a view of you find some down time.

He fell off after Boomerang and got back on track with Nutty Professor.
In between those years......In Living Colour/ Def Comedy Jam changed comedy , and launched several new and funny comedians.
Eddie didn't release a standup special after Raw.People forgot just how talented he was..and supported the new crop of comedians. Eddie couldn't build on the momentum of his comeback film "Nutty Professor" & started releasing wack films , family friendly films, and voice overs for animated films.

Bad movie choices that didn’t pay off over the last few years. I was literally thinking about that movie Meet Dave & Pluto Nash...
the concept was there it just didn’t fully follow through. Maybe it was the writing or the promotion.. maybe it was just timing...The only movies he has done over the last decade people fukk with is Dreamgirls & Norbit. One is an Oscar winning musical movie adaptation, the other is Eddie in a fat suit where the jokes land. Did it do good in the box office, like Meet Dave & Pluto Nash, no, it too was considered a flop... but it was only revived by most likely word of mouth.

Honestly the same can be said about Martin’s career outside of Bad Boys... how many movies and projects overall has he done that is considered top of the line successful projects?
That show he did with Kelsey Grammar? His cameo in the Big Sean video? Blue Streak?

They had their stride, in order for them to gain it back it’s gonna be the people who truly ride with them to get it to happen. The same way Norbit is a classic although it was a box office flop.

I refuse to acknowledge Mr. Church.
S/n:
Vampire in Brooklyn is hilarious. Kadeem Hardison needs to be this due for his role of being the stooge in that movie. That man’s body was literally falling apart in 80% of the movie.

Norbit was never a flop. I dont know why people say that. It grossed 95million+ in the boxoffice domestically. It was just critically panned because it came out During his Oscar nomination run for Dream Girls and people say that affected his win. The white critics went hard on that movie. Most black folks loved it. No actor, whether Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, or Tom Hanks film would be considered a flop for grossing 100mil off of a 50 mil production cost.
