Breh, he's been killing it in the industry for 40 years.

Imagine 40 years of being a celebrity.

Maybe he's just chilln and has basically decided that he's done enough and wants to just enjoy his money/family for the last few decades of life?
He's been "killing it" since Pluto Nash? :francis:

Kevin Hart spoke about a dinner he had with a bunch of other comedians and Eddie Murphy.
Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle...a lot of guys were there. And they were all in awe of Eddie the entire time.

Among people in that world, Eddie is the godfather, so to speak.
There is no "falling off" when you are at that level.

Had an all-time great box office run and then started doing terrible movies like Pluto Nash & The Haunted Mansion because he was getting paid like 20 million a film so I understand why he would take certain roles :hubie:

I don’t think he ever really fell off. He just stopped working as much. I think he said it best when he was doing the press tour from Dreamgirls.

“people keep asking me how it feels to be back? Back from where? The Bank? The last movie I made was Shrek”

came in to say this
