real talk, man. watching drug inc. shyt is really sad. growing up having to see fiends and even alcoholics around. that shyt was NOT cool. shyt was scary and more of a warning of what happens if you fukk around. i was mostly sheltered away from that thanks to my parents but that shyt was always around though. it's that looking back at it now, things weren't as great as they seemed or at least where i grew up. it was real. to think that it's someone's mom, dad, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and etc. i know that one of my childhood friends growing up mom was a drug addict and she basically was fukked up to the point where my friend and his little sister had to stay with their grandmoms. would see their mother sometimes and she looked fukked up. sort of like bubbles from the wire. dunno what she was on BUT that shyt really had her gripped to the point where she basically was not raising her kids. really embarrassing. it was like wow.... that's that shyt right there.

and another thing too. it's REAL easy to become a fiend and hard as fukk to get and remain clean. plenty of good and smart people have ended up fukking their lives up playing with drugs. they wanna have a little fun experimenting, partying, listening to their friends and etc then BOOM, they end up hooked on something. i've seen way too many normal people ending up becoming zombies and just being gone. that's why i really don't care to be all that social with folks like that because the more people you know, the more folks you have all introducing you to whatever else. would rather just keep a small circle of people that ain't involved in any of that shyt as far as i know and etc. folks will drag you down if they see some bullshyt.

Id say around 2007-2009 sippin lean became a bigger thing outside the south due to Lil Wayne.

BUt since like 2011-2012 had "hard drugs" really been more of a trend in hip hop. The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Travis Scott, Thugger, Future, all have imagery and narratives heavily associated with hard drugs and really that whole "prog rap" production sound is kinda meant to channel a drug haze imo.

lol you fukking clowns. the average person can't even afford learn to get addicted to it. that's why they get people to "try" lean a few times, then cut off they supply. then they suggest them legit heroin, os that they can feel the same thing. then eventually they become addicts. no broke ass regular nikka is getting addicted to lean like that.

Dr. Dre The Chronic

That was a gateway drug to where we are now.

The only drug you need is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu which is an anti drug.

But white lines was about coke....... still Dre mainstreamed drug addiction. Music is always used as a commercial for whatever the cartels are pushing.

Weed is not a gateway drug. The real gateway drugs are thsee damn chemicals in the foods that lead to diseases where people end up being prescribed meds from these pharmaceutical companies.

:patrice:
I been trying to warn coli brahs about this for quite some time now... Before i would never say that weed is a gateway drug... However today I have to disagree.

All this new indoor artificial/gmo/chemical laced weed is anything but natural...All of the health benefits has been bred out.

Weed needs to be grown naturally/organically. It needs to be grown outdoors as well. Artificial lighting can not replace the power of natural sun rays.

Smokers these days are never satisfied. They always feel like the strongest sh1t doesn't have any pressure. They stay chasing that one high (like crackheads do). They messing with the weed brahs.

I'm talking about us 90's babies here.

The generation before us was the crack generation....but no one was praising that shyt acting like it was cool. But these days nikkas love to brag about how much shyt they're on....and it's seen as alright :mindblown:

Xans, Molly, Lean, Pills,etc

Weed and Liquor been the norm for a while but all this other shyt is getting outta hand

Since I heard this song

Doesn't seem so bad of a choice after listening
