When did it become so hard to DL a damn game?!

For the past decade finding PC games required no effort. I would be pissed because my system couldn't play most of the games I came across. Now I have a fairly decent system and trying to find something to play, and i can only find so much shyt out there! Even IRC doesn't have files like it used to. Please, somebody PM me to the right direction or something! I don't want to use torrents and I'm not too sure about news groups. Would a news group give me what I am looking for? Somebody help ya boy out

Newer games (Arkham City, GTA 4....). I got BF3 but from what I can tell, I will have to buy it for Multiplayer.

yea. depends on your line but it maxes out my connection at around 2.4-3.0MB/s consistently unless i have a stream running from netflix or something. its a no brainer to me
