Kawhi isnt washed. He has another gear he can get to, we seen it and until he shows he can't, I'm fully expecting him to ramp up to that next level in the postseason.......................

All you nikkas know it, so its funny how all summer and after the first game of the year, the season was over before it started and the Clips were gonna destroy the NBA and my guy was finished....

But if my guy is healthy, really if all things are equal on both sides, I like my guy over yours, I like the Lakers over your team, and I have zero hesitation or doubt, none. And that's with great respect and belief that Kawhi will be at the highest level he can get to...

Now y'all cats wanna talk about how Kawhi's defense has taken a drop-off after I've been saying this ever since he took on a #1 option role in 2017. I remember being laughed at when I said he wasn't consistently great cause he had to conserve energy for the offensive end.
What I’ve noticed is he isn’t getting the space to operate that he was getting last year or in SA. I’ve watched a lot of Clippers games this year and I think a lot of the issue is Kawhi not giving a shyt yet, it looks like he got even bigger this summer which has affected his lift, but most realistically, Doc has to run some more modern actions to get him the ball in better scoring locations. Instead he has Kawhi getting swarmed and it’s affecting his FG%. Hopefully over time, Doc starts understanding that he has four guys who can be ball handlers in pnr (Pat Bev, PG, Lou and Kawhi), two great rolling big men in Zubac and Montrezl Harrell and spot up shooters to keep in the corners as release valves when the D inevitably collapses. I’d go big more. I’d go small and run some motion offence. I’d try to get out into transition more. I haven’t seen the stats but it looks like the Clips should and could benefit from increasing their pace. But they’re still gelling. Let’s judge this team in March and beyond. I have a feeling Kawhi will be fine.

I’m supposed to applaud Lebron for showing the effort he refused to last year because he was clearly “unhappy”? I’m supposed to jump up & down about numbers he gets in his sleep? Numbers that have never during the course of his career told the story of his best or worst games? (Sans 11 Finals) Wasn’t 28 8 8 the theme of last year?
Here’s what we know
Lou & Trez put up a hell of a fight against the mighty Warriors. We have no clue how people react to the spotlight of the playoffs. The Lakers will be relying heavily on a Kyle Kuzma who wasn’t afforded his first taste of playoff experience last year when he should have. I can’t help but think that we’ve been hear before. If Kuz ends up being the new Jordan Clarkson they have no chance.
