The South and Real Hip Hop fans always loved Andre and Outkast

Mainstream started dikkriding Andre 3000 around 2005 when he started randomly appearing on remixes like walk it out (unk) and throw some d's on it.......It almost became his thing to hop on these remixes, do features then all of a sudden people I never heard talk about Outkast were anticipating an Andre 3000 solo.

nobody who isn't over 30 and a sackhead rides with Outkast down souf. We only rocking with guwop, tip and jeezy. kill that noise.

3000 is not overrated. He's just getting his due. Maybe not on his best work, but his more mainstream collabs.

But if you listen at the work he put in between the first - forth album, you will understand why he is so revered.
