To be completely honest,

there was absolutely NOTHING funny about that "joke" and It has now turned into a "lets see who can find the funniest gif" a-thon.

I didn't crack a smile, and the threadstarter has nothing to be ashamed about, because I said so.

Back to the thread;

I really don't know, I played NYC ball pretty much all my life and in my childhood Im trying to remember who we fashioned our games after, and Im catching Kenny & Penny. I don't remember kenny anderson or Rod strickland doing this at all, Def. not anybody before them. Im gonna go with Anfernee Hardaway?

:wtf: Penny? Invented the jumpstop? That shyt cray. I don't know who invented the shyt. I just know it wasn't Penny. shyt is fundamental to the game of basketball. I'm sure Coach Wooden was teaching his players that move on the regular in the 50s, 60s, & 70s.

I didn't say he invented it, Im trying to reach back as far as I can as a player & fan, and I don't remember anyone doing it before him. Just off MY MEMORY
