Most Black men were raised in single mother homes. Single mothers teach young Black boys to exalt Black women both consciously and subconsciously and not not go against their mothers, aunties or grandmas. This thinking extends to adulthood. So men grow up thinking that the best way to avoid conflict is to agree with women wholesale whether it serves their best interests or not and that type of thinking has to be unlearned.
