Because kids nowadays can be connected to their friends without even leaving their bedrooms. Gone are the days of needing to meet up with your friends in person when all of them are constantly available to you via social media, discord, online gaming and group chats.

Not to mention how expensive everything is now.

Well in the city you have Uber, bus, train, bike, or scooter. I’d probably put my car down if I lived in the city myself but I can’t.

Yea I noticed that wit my youngins (the oldest), when he was 16, around 2017. He wasn't pressin gettin a license, or wheel, at all. We basically walked him into it, around 18ish.:yeshrug:

When I was 16, early 2000s...it was a death nail to your social life, if u didn't have an L, or wheel, in some instances. :russ:

By 17...18, you were already washed wit no L, nd considered a SCRUB (courtesy of TLC)..."Hangin on the passenger side, of ya best-friends ride..."

I don't see these lil nkkas in raggedy hoops nomore, at all. That was the norm, back in the day. Reckless 16 yr olds, all over the road.
