When people started consuming more video and audio than text. People don't look at words and recognize them as being wrong anymore. That's why you see shyt like, "will you sale me your car," or "romin" instead of "ramen" :mjlol:.

I guess it was about the same time that they changed "Plead" (pronounced "pl.ed") to "Pleaded".

I grew up and it would be "The defendant plead not guilty."......Now what's written/said is The defendant pleaded not guilty." :ld:

It probably went from paid, to payed, because someone was being payed out, because he wasn't getting paid.
