These wave reveals comedy, the slow Durag unwrap then everybody in unison be ‘OOOoohhhhhhh’ 
Nope. As a coarse hair waver who brushes consistently I can tell you rn that it doesn't matter how much you brush. If your hair is coarse it will never look as silky as someone who has medium or straight hair. It's just facts.

I had waves for a minutes end of high school through college. One time I s curled them and they were on SPIN laid down. Only did it once though 
are these extreme waves healthy for your hair long term?
It depends on what you use in your hair. If you use natural oils to get waves then your fine. But you start using that pomade, and grease with petroleum it will fukk up your hair in the long run and speed up the balding process.
