This. I'm in fukking Chicago where Pride is HUGE and sure enough, the only people "noticing it being aggressive" are the ones with problems with gay people. Its literally all the same except a fukking microscope being put on LGBTQ people thanks to Republicans. Thats an awfully reductive take but also 100% why the visibility seems higher.

Maaan, in Chicago it's Pride year round. I live just above Lakeview and it's 365 rainbow party in Lakeview.

I'm aware of it, but what they do don't effect me so it is what it is.

Why doesn't Juneteenth get this love from these corporations? Black history month?

I prefer Juneteenth to NOT get love from corporations except giving employees holiday pay if they have to work or the office being closed like they do for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Christmas, etc with pay.

I believe BHM and Juneteenth don't get as much publicity/love is due to the fact that the cac executives and leadership have Alphabet folks within their own families. Plus, its a money grab.
