I had a 9 am class and woke up late, but was still on time. I had it on under a beanie and you couldn't see the drawstrings. I had 3 other classes that day and wanted my waves be laid down for the rest of the day

Was i in the wrong? Why are du-rags frowned upon? A fresh fade with the waves is a classic look

Two things I learned from having black professors. Either they push you harder, because they know what you're about to face in the real world. My professor mr Gibbs was like this.

Or they just have a problem with anything that doesn't look " Corporate and professional".

From my experience black professors always go harder on their black students. Sorry bro!


White professors will allow you to get away with this, because they tend to be liberal and don't want to " Offend".
