Doo rags have never been professional.

But I must ask if this professor requires female students to remove head scarves, wraps, hair clips etc , if he aks any other students to remove head wear of any kind and If not, then I would document that and report him.

Two things I learned from having black professors. Either they push you harder, because they know what you're about to face in the real world. My professor mr Gibbs was like this.

Or they just have a problem with anything that doesn't look " Corporate and professional".

From my experience black professors always go harder on their black students. Sorry bro!

White professors will allow you to get away with this, because they tend to be liberal and don't want to " Offend".

This. I went to one in Atl, and my prof wanted us to wear full suit and tie every Friday!!

Didn't totally understand it then, but now that I am older (:flabbynsick:), I can see that this was the reason.

We were studying Accounting, and most of the people in my classes did not know how to dress in corporate America.
