When did you first begin using the internet?

At home, 1990. At school, 1992/1993.

I’m a hood girl who had a nerdy white stepdad. I already knew how to use a computer before he met my mom, he was amazed I knew what email was. I wish I had learned more about computers than just being an end user. I made my first web page in 1993.

I remember using the internet around 99 going on cartoon network.com playing flash games and shyt but around 04/05 that's when it became apart of my life. Downloading music from Limewire, Ares. Dial up Internet was crazy. I remember I used to start downloading a song in the morning and by the time I got home from school it would be done.

Boy you had to start a download, then wait til you came back from school to have it hopefilly downloaded. You get home and its this with an error

Bruh. There's nothing worse than someone calling the house and disconnecting the internet. You at school for the whole day thinking about that song you'll have when you get home and you just see Ann error .So I used download songs at night and leave it overnight cause I know no ones calling at that time

Later down the line I was using AOL discs and had the browser hidden on our computer. I used that shyt exclusively for looking at porn My dumbass friend came over one time and I TOLD him to use AOL cuz the history wouldn't show up on the main browser and his dumbass was like 'we just gotta delete the cookies '

Was about to post nearly the same exact thing, only my brother had it in our crib.

Blew my fukking mind how he went to some site and it had the Cowboys vs. Bills Super Bowl seconds after the conference championship game ended. I was like

How the fukk did they have that info on the screen already? For cats that came up as kids reading newspapers, magazines, and local news for sports info, that shyt was like witchcraft.

Also had an X-Band in '96 for my Sega Genesis. Alot of people still don't know the SNES and Genesis had games you could play against people online way back in '95 along with email capabilities.
