When did you fully start supporting yourself financially?

I just turned 23 and my mom still helps me out. I'm applying for a job soon and I'll be able to support myself fully and not be a burden to her and do my own thing.

Wanted to know what age did you stop relying on your parents, if ever?

23 is when I got my own apartment and didn't need their support. Came home from college at 21 so that's not bad.

15 was my first real job outside of church or cutting neighborhood grass. I got academic and athletic scholarships to college but kept on working a full-time job to pay my rent. Looking forward to not having to work one day.

I know how people are. I prefer to handle things myself. If I fail or succeed it's on me. I'll be okay no matter what.
