I'm 21. I go to community college and plan on transferring in about a year or so. I thought about countless times of getting my own crib, for right now. My stepdad tells me I should wait and take advantage of what I have going here and just go to school. I see his point.

I personally know many adults who moved out my age, or even younger. And now live back with their parents or moves from house to house wherever they can stay. I personally don't know why I know so many adults in their late 30s early 40s struggling as if they just moved out for the first time. I know a few people around my age who've moved out but are already fukking up and having huge money issues.

Honestly I'm scared coli, when my time finally comes I'm afraid I'm a end right back where I started but this time with money issues,a kid, or any other major setback.

I really just want an apartment for silly reasons. Everyone I go to school with and some close friends of mine have their own apartments. So I kind of feel like that lame who hasn't advanced in life yet. Some of my friends don't go to school though, they have full time jobs. Another reason is my friends come over all the time and I'm just not mentally free when we hang here. I have a man cave in the garage so they aren't in my parents way or anything. It's just knowing this isn't my house and my parents are letting me live here when I'm a grown ass man. So most of the time I'm worried about the music being too loud. Someone coming over and acting out due to being drunk, you know petty shyt. I feel like if I had my own crib I wouldn't have to be stressed about any of that because whatever happens I can deal with it myself. And one major reason is the females. I honestly hate bringing one over here, I can't nail that shyt hard in my room when my parents room is down the hall I also don't want my parents running into a female I bring over. The only time I want a female to meet my parents are when they are the one. And I'm not looking for the one I'm looking for body counts and staying here is keeping it low.

When did you guys move out and what was it like? Any advice as well?

Moved out at 18, moved back recently to stack. I'll be out again Q2 2016, so I'm good.

I won't lie the female reason is a good reason when you've tasted freedom before..

Trying to move out in the middle of next year. I want to experience life for myself and go back to college.
I feel you but I want to get school out the way as soon as possible. I feel like if I took that route I might not go back to college for some reason.

I'm preparing myself for that school/work multiple jobs to pay the bills life soon.

Left the crib when I was 17 and never looked back. Moms didn't want me to leave and actually cried when I left, but I always been an independent nikka, so the day I graduated high school I was out that bytch. I did have to call and ask for help a few times, but never had to move back in.

Right after college. Aint no way I was gonna be a grown man and my momma barking at me to wash the dishes :heh:
fukk them goddamn dishes :birdman:

I moved about 6 months after graduating college. I didn't get a job til around july of that year, so I had to save a little bread and once I got my apartment, I never looked back.
