I'd have to say right after his return from his 'shoot' promo. That promo had everyone - myself included - like but after Raw went off-air, I was wondering how this dude would maintain the momentum he got from that. I knew he couldn't 'shoot' for the rest of his career, yet that's what he seemed to attempt to do for a while after that. Dude just ended up seeming like that annoying kid from school who you knew had more book smarts than some people, yet he acted like he was the smartest kid on the planet

The Chris Brown/Stone Cold hypocrisy just made him look even worse.

I actually never had a problem with Punk before that. Never thought he was something special either although I did kinda like his SES period.

Nash ethered Punk during what was probably the WORST promo of his career. I TOLD y'all, I TOLD y'all this last fall. Everybody just said I was being "contrarian" and it was Nash who got embarrassed. Looks like weights were hit, showers were taken, and clues gotten.

Punk is still the man, a great wrestler and a good talker.

He's just playing his part, and yes he is corny at times.
