When did you realize the sneaker game passed you by?

prolly a few years back when the only shoe i copped in a year were some Roshe Runs...but i think imma step back in the game now that i'm seeing how much these sneakers reselling for nowadays...got a pair of Off White Prestos coming my way that somebody already lookin to take off my hands for $800 ...wish i could get my hands on the AJ1's...

When I realized sneakers are for sports not walking. I mean sure you wear them cuz they confimie but all my new bball sneakers whether Jordans or Adidas. Brand new I just play ball in them. And that's when I 4ealized. How they look is secondary to how they play.
For example. Most Jordans I played in have been ass. The 31s I picked up and only managed to play in once they were so disappointing. The rose line on Adidas is hella nice.

Case in point: Metallic V’s (retroed two more times since 06’)
