thats not a new wave.

these kinds of athletic shoes were popular in the usa, uk, and japan in the 80s and 90s.

see huaraches.

nothing out now is new, just a rehashing of previous design.

Everything in life has been done before. If it hasn't been popular in 30 years and becomes popular again I think it's safe to call it the new wave. Nobody would've been caught dead in the dad sneaker 5 years ago now balenciago, Gucci, yeezy etc are moving them off the shelves.

define "dad sneaker"

its been plenty of people wearing pennys and huaraches for years, myself being one of them.

im not sure where you're from but obviosuly location is important in regards to style.

I’m in college with over 100 pairs of kicks. I got every pair of yeezy v2s that dropped in the last two years :snoop: had to stop because I realized I’ll never get to wear most of the kicks I have

No need to pretend it's not a trend, and the old huaraches while almost similar were still a bit sleeker

Are yall feeling the new "Dad" sneaker trend
im at work and cant really see the pics, but the pic you used in this thread looks nothing like those sketcher looking feets.

im talking about boxy athletic sneakers.

i dont really care about any of those "high fashion" sneakers because thats a recent entry into "sneakerhead" culture and its really some hypebeast cornball shyt.
