Can you drop knowledge on early African tribes?

Well would you like to add consciousness instead of just point out what it lacks. Like be constructive

It's been awhile, but our course, revolved around Imhotep, the Ethiopian and Ashanti tribes. Outside of that, it was a really dark course on slavery/ slave trades and their brutality. However there was one lecture with him I will never forget. The Shyt literally had me in tears. I'm crying a little bit typing this. :to:. He wanted to show us the real brutality of slavery, and I mean the REAL BRUTALITY of slavery. So he paid a couple of actors to replicate slavery in its fullest form. He had if I remember correctly 8 black actors to work on a fake cotton field, he bought to class. He had real white actors, whip these black actors, and had them called the N word ( yes with the er); and that Shyt was savage ( I will never forget this). He also had one of the females fake a rape scene ( they were having sex, but made it look like a rape). The actress was literally screaming ( fake of course); about being raped. The Shyt made me cry like a motherfukker. I swear watching this Shyt made me hate white people with a passion. I'm so blessed that Dr.Okafor is tenured, because a regular professor would've been fired with the quickness.

Sorry if I moved off topic, just started having flashbacks about the class.

But the knowledge of African tribes, centured around trades and their wealth. The Ashanti tribe was one of the wealthiest tribes using force,while Ethiopia tribes were smarter in their trade routes.

That's true but the churches were safe havens for black people in America so its been translated down pretty hard

I never was ..... my Dad was the biggest influence on me, taught me how to read , what books to read, told me about the white man, as a proud African man taught me about my culture ,
What books?

What did he tell you about the white man?

As an African and not an africant, how did your father view Afro Americans

do you guys know that in the german language they have a color for the white skin called ' human color' [in german it is called 'menschen(human) farbe(color) ']
i mean brown is braun, black is schwarz, but white in art class was 'human color'!!!
when you went to the shop and bought colors like blue,green,red,etc.. you could order 'human color'. as a matter of fact at the school i attended, you had to buy that human color to draw white people correctly.
i remember vividly, me and my mom going to a shop to buy it and my mom asking the shop clerk why the black/brown skin is not also referred to as 'menschen farbe'
had everyone in the place feeling uncomfortable as fukk.mom never gave a fukk to begin with,especially since apartheid ended.
she was like.......
mom::what::comeon: what the fukk is menschen farbe????
shop clerk (white woman)::huhldup::whoa:
white onlookers::whoa::huhldup:
black onlookers::sas1::sas2:
little mr. africa:
:pachaha::pachaha:

and you know what, up until my mom mentioned it in that shop, it never struck me as odd or out of the ordinary
:wow:brainwashing is real and they start at a young age.

My mom and family put me on when I was real young, so I was lucky enough to not buy into it. For a while, I won't lie, I thought us youngsters could actually get along better. Which was true until we all got older. Anyway, funny related story;

I lived in RSA for a few years. When I was in my first year of school there, in the 3rd grade, they had a history lesson of sorts. Of course, being SA and having somewhat educated mother, I was one of 10 black kids out of 350+. I'll never forget this;

Afrikaner teacher: Jan van Riebeck was the first man in South Africa...
Me: But didn't he meet the black people here already?
AT: Well, yes, but you know what I mean
Me: So were black people not people?
AT: Don't start this nonsense with me, boy.
Me: My name's not boy, and I just want to be sure

Bish tried to call my mom but she got savaged in response. My mom called her a closet racist and told her "my boy is 9 and he sees you for what you are" :russ:

Another time we were doing colouring in and the teacher asked us to use "skin colour" - meaning white skin for the simpletons out there - for the pictures. I used brown and she came to ask me what I was doing. I said "you said skin colour, as you can see this is what my skin looks like" :youngsabo:She went all "that's not skin colour, that's brown! Listen to what me, I don't like repeating myself!" getting MAD heated and her accent getting stronger and thicker and I'm there like "but my skin IS brown, ma'am" :heh: She sent me to the principal's office, where I explained myself. This cac tried to threaten me with detention:shaq2: until I said "those days are long gone, you both need to realise we're here to stay" asked them to call my mom again if there was really a problem:steviej:100-0 real quick and he was all :whoa:

learning that racism is a system and why it occurs gave me a lot of clarity.

"Racism (White Supremacy) is the local and global power system and dynamic, structured and maintained by persons who classify themselves as white, whether consciously or subconsciously determined, which consists of patterns of perception, logic, symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity (economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war), for the ultimate purpose of white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth - a planet upon which the vast majority of people are classified as nonwhite (black, brown, red and yellow) by white skinned people, and all of the nonwhite people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetic recessive white skin people".

- Francis Cress Welsing MD

Movies and tv shows
I think it was 2009 maybe, 2010. I realized that a lot that was being glorified was a bunch of bullshyt & distractions to blind people from what's really being presented to them.
Edit: it was when the whole Guantánamo Bay totrued prisoners became public knowledge.

After highscool and when I went natural. Cut my hair the day after graduation. Thats why I excuse young kids. You have to wait till after graduation to see where there head is at. Because now they are out in the real world, their opinions may change.
