That many corporations will "match" your donation to the endowment of a school?
I used to work in the alumni office of the (PWI) university I attend, and distinctly remember them being very focused on the employment of their alumni, and making sure I put the "Matching Gift" option if the alum was employed by a major corporation that had such a policy (IBM, Cleveland Clinic, Aenta, etc.)
I'm just realising this now, because I'd imagine a large chunk of the alumni that do donate are not presently aware of this way to get extra-money to the school itself. I was just about to send two small donations (one to Grambling and one to Central when I thought about this).
