Rodgers is just not clutch man. Has his team ever won when they were down going into the 4th? You can pencil in a loss after the 3rd. He's just a very talented frontrunner. He kinda like pre 2012 Lebron
He's more talented than Brady and maybe Peyton if we looking at his arm but he just don't got the intangibles. Y'all can say Bellichek all you want but you a dumb ass goofy if you taking him over Brady. He's likely better now than 43yo Brady but in a big game I'd prolly still take Tom now
Rodgers has around 20 4th quarter comebacks
He was very clutch last season, Packers won a lot of close contests
Ask yourself this though, does Brady have more weapons than Rodgers?
The answer is yes. Brady has Godwin, Evans, Gronk and a damn good RB
Rodgers has Davante and Aaron Jones. That’s it. The rest of these guys are 5th round picks or undrafted FAs in the last 2 years. LaFleur schemes guys open but if they face a fast defense, they can’t win one on one matchups outside of Adams and Jones.
Losing our all pro RT in Bulaga and putting up the offensive production through the first 4 weeks has been impressive but the Packers can’t win it all until Rodgers has a TE who can run and a WR who can run on the slot.
And the defense won’t be championship caliber until it has LBs inside who can run sideline to sideline and make plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Who was the last great Packers middle linebacker?
The sad fact it was probably Clay Matthews when he moved inside in 2014 but beyond that you gotta go to 2010 when Desmond Bishop of all people played out of his mind in the SB season. That’s a long time ago and this predates the current coaching staff.
But Brian Gutekunst was in the front office this whole time.
