I use to sneak beer in when I was younger, and I mean alot younger. Until one day, I accidentally tipped my beer bottle over, while I had it sitting on the floor, next to my foot. The bottle rolled all the way down the isle...lol. Anyway, that was the last time I did it. Up until a few years ago, I use to sneak in a big bag of trial-mix. But I could only do it in the winter, when I could hide it under my trench coat.
Lately, it's been getting harder and harder to enjoy the movies, although some of it probably has something to do with the theater I go to. It be like only 6 or 7 people in there. The last few times I went, it seemed like even they were a little unhappy. Maybe it was the movie, however the movie was pretty funny, which was "A Hip Hop Story". People were laughing, but it seemed like when I laughed, they stopped. I was laughing by myself at times, although I felt I had to hold my laugh in a little every now and then. Most of the guest were couples, or in groups of two or three. I never expereinced this kinda vibe during a comedy, regardless if I was the only one laughing. But like I said, the spirits are starting to feel a little low, at least in that theater. And this be on the weekends, or on Tuesdays, the days when it's usually more crowded. I'm sure the movie releases these days has a lot to do with this too. But like I said, "A Hip Hop Story" wasn't too bad, however I still felt kinda low energy vibes from this smaller audience.
The theather employees still seem to have negative energy too. And lately, they can't seem to have my food ready when I pre-order on-line. It's only a large pocorn and a large drink. I think they do this on purpose, because I had to write up a few of them in the past. I order online so I won't give any of them a chance to rub me the wrong way, and so I won't have a reason to write anybody up. But theses negroes will always find a way to be negroes...and they can be any age.
One big thing I've notice at this AMC theater is, everytime they show a Black movie, they set the temperature a little too chilly. But lately, they've been going overboard with this, causing me to get a head cold. But when I'm in an auditorium showing a White movie, or a movie that attracts more Whites, the temperature is a lot more comfortable. For example, I had to wear a mask during "A Hip Hop Story". And when I went to see "American Fiction" last month, I had to walk out after 20 minutes, because of the chilly temperature...and still caught a cold. Sitting on the edge of the row, I could actually feel the cold air boucing off the wall. I never felt anything like that in a movie theater. I was the only one there that night, so I thought that was the reason, which was still unacceptable. I had to comeback a week or two later, so I could see the whole movie. Btw, "American Fiction" was a pretty good movie too. However I didn't like the ending too tough, and I didn't think they had to included the gay stuff. Although the movie was pretty good, I found it a little depressing in away, because it had you thinking about things that all families deal with, especailly when all the sibblings get pass 45, 50, or 60.
