I guess.

My current girl is a baddie but before that I was in the same cycle: putting in effort, being intentional, only to feel like I wasted my time in the end.

Dating isn’t really easy for anyone unless you truly top tier and even then you still have to watch out for being taken advantage of. You have to be patient and brush your shoulders off until you find what you are looking for. Until then, work on yourself.

Honestly I think women are thirstier than ever. In the last month I've seen and heard more stories about women embarrassing themselves for men's attention then should be legal.

In any case, women complain about the dating market too. I hope we're not to act like they aren't. Hell, on both sides, both men and women who are steadily getting hook-ups, bodies, and what have you complain about the dating scene as well. The complaints are tied to the quality, not the quantity most times. Women will claim that all these men are narcissists or some other buzzword. Men will complain about women being this or that. The funny part is, both sides are correct but they are talking about the men or women they are encountering and the ones they are encountering are not representative of all the people out there, just the ones most active.

There's money in creating and feeding that delusion so it persists.

I can sell men financial literacy courses if I call it some shyt like "Power Finance"
I can sell men cookbooks, diet supplements, and exercise videos if I call it something like "Alpha Wolf Training Camp"
I can sell people bullshyt pickup lines by calling a course something like "Red Pill Frame workshop"

With women, all I need to tell them is that they're all cinderella and there's a 6 club prince waiting for them as long as they follow a specific fitness and diet regime, and as long as they take a course on style and basic therapy techniques called something like "Queen Mindset".

That's all this shyt has always been, create anxiety in a group then sell them the solution. We live in a country that doesn't lionize dedicated effort, but instead tells people that there are easy ways to get things and shortcuts exist. Dating is difficult if your social skills are weak. People's social skills are weak if they spend more time on social media talking to people who already agree with them on things or who are always trying to sell them something or pull them into some kind of community or movement. The apps are worthless for men because women are not as visual as men. It's plenty of women out there that will tell you to your face that they wouldn't have even gone out on a date with the man who is currently their husband if all they had to go off of was a few sentences and some pictures.
