Black Self-Sufficiency
(On my phone)

I was pointing out how he consistently posts about these topics to push his agenda, not speaking on Sha'Carri's experience. I'm sure she had good reason to say what she said, she's generally on the level.

Just for context:
I personally take offense to the bolded because my parents were very politically active in Haiti and our family/circle was very pro Black. Denigrating an African American for a failure is something alien to me that I'm just hearing about recently (last few years). If anything my dad especially venerated African Americans, we had portraits of MLK and Malcolm X next to our family pictures and I have memories of borderline lectures from my parents about civil rights history. From watching TV documentaries on great African Americans to being encouraged to read about that history, same as if they were Haitian. So it stings to read online about this trend when I have no experience with it, it's honestly hard to imagine outside of maybe a school yard situation.
Why take offense over an action you do not participate in? I can understand pointing out that you do not participate in it, but being offended when one of my own points out that some other people, non-Black American ethnicities, do participate in it should not bother you at all, or at most cause you to point out you are not one who does.

We can't act like it does not happen, because too many examples can be easily shown demonstrating that it does happen. With the advent of cameras, we can now easily catch it on display leaving it out of the realm of just "He say She say". This also goes towards what I said about a discussion needs to be had, because all of us in the Black Diaspora should be perfectly fine with the c00ns being called out no matter their ethnicity, instead of trying to cover it up because we take some personal offense to it being exposed even when we personally do not participate in the acts, but one in our own ethnicity does participate in it.

*Edit: I also have to admit that from my perspective, which I admit is not the entirety of all experience, we Black Americans seem to be far willing to call out and allow to be called out our c00ns by any other Black person.

If the person bringing this to light was acting in good faith I'd have no issue.

Threads like this are always funny. In 6 months she'll post a picture standing next to a white dude on instagram and will magically turn into a bedwench feminist that hates black men :dead:

Also perhaps you need some maturity. Sha'carri has learnt and grown a lot over the last year and is now loved around the world. Perhaps people like you need to do the same.

More like she lose the next race and there will be a super thread talking about "she fell off" "she was worried about nails and weave and talking shyt, while others were focused on running!" Then she'll start to win again and more crickets. Wash, rinse, repeat every time she wins and loses.

Ironically the chick she beat had on a sherbert colored wig and nobody said a thing. These dudes love to flip flop and pick and choose

Why we always gotta stay humble? nikkas never allowed to celebrate or show some confidence in themselves. Always gotta remain meek and grateful for whatever we get. Being humble don’t get you shyt except sympathy after folks finish kicking your ass, and not just talking about sports, I’m talking about life and business. We don’t need to be playing for sympathy anymore.

fukk that.

You see that shyt all the time in sports. White QB shows some flex and it’s “Look at that confidence, look at that leadership, I love that competitive fire, that’s a leader among men”. Black qb does the same thing and it’s “he has maturity issues, he needs to humble himself, he needs a father figure”.

Now She’Carri was definitely disrespectful I will agree there. But fukk the humble shyt, if you earned the right to run your mouth then go with it, you know what comes with the territory if you fail”.
