At now, damn near 40 years of age I understand. Those Andrew Tate types are terrible and are selling absolute garbage to these young men and women who buy into that machismo.
That said as a short breh Who did not have anything special going on, I went through a lottttttttt of shyt with women in my age group from teens through 20s that was absolutely perplexing. To my credit when I was tired of it, I just stopped chasing and started doing things exclusively that I enjoyed. Funny enough, the dismissive and abrasive nature that I sort of adopted as a result got me more positive responses than the other way around. No, not with every woman, but with enough that I learned that all that thoughtful and romantic shyt is for a niche segment, and you practically had to hold all of that until a girl has shown you multiple times through multiple interactions and a few dates that she is worth it. It basically reinforced the good old hard on hose stuff ogs were talking about.
Basically to get to the point, I still entered all of that with a level head and stayed out of the game until I felt less toxic and more ready to open up again. These young dudes are being validated in their toxicity by cats like Tate. It’s made worse by the fact that you were almost guaranteed to get used and led astray by a couple of women during your formative years. Lucky dudes have their Father’s and some levelheaded friends to help them navigate. These new cats get all of their advice from podcasts with ill intentions. This is not to blame the women necessarily, but when guys learned that women run game for whatever reason, there is a good percentage of dudes who turned in the straight scumbags or they lower the floor of effort dudes are willing to put in even for decent girls because they are trying their best to avoid being used. It’s a dirty game and having played it, I’m glad I’m not young anymore in the dating game.
