I miss those days.
The 2000s were the peak club era days.
After 2009 it was a wrap
Eveerbody too cool for school.
Everybody is a photographer, model, dj, artist, designer, influencer, club/party promoter...etc.
Having more fun on their phones than at the club dancing
Dudes too scared to talk and dance with women
Women too into themselves to talk to the dudes unless they want a drink.
Its like nobody is having fun at the club anymore...whats the point?
Last time I went to a club was like 2010. It seems like Lounges and Hookah spots took over since then.
The 2000's was hella lit for the club scene. I remember clubbing in DC back in the mid 2000's. Love was super lit. Going clubbing in DC during Howard Homecoming weekend though. Dime bytches hollering at you.
Most brehs here are in their late 30's. Somehow, I think clubbing in the 90's was even more lit because dancing was really a sport back then. For us as little kids, we thought the club was going to be like House Party.I also felt like the 2000's is also when too many fake thugs were produced, too many nikkas thought they were tough because they wore tall tees and baggy shyt and sold nickels of reggie as a job (I seen hella folks get stomped out in my clubbing days, even certain songs being played would guarantee fights), and people were more able to just have fun and stay in their stay in their own lane in the 90's.
Clubbing in the Kid 'N Play era musta been epic. Going to the club in a loud ass suit and dancing your ass off, nobody worrying about looking tough or any of that clown shyt. Even though crime was higher and the streets were tougher in hella cities back in the early 90's, it seemed like regular brehs weren't on that type of time and had more fun.
