Seeing as though the media dedicated over 4 years of our lives to #RussiaGate, as if Russia in its current weakened state could possibly have the pull to manipulate global events to the extent the news media claimed it did, with no results I'm just wondering when #ChinaGate is coming
1. American media is controlled by 6 multinational corporations who all do business extensively with China. American media has also been working to absolve China from any of the blame associated with allowing this virus to spread throughout the world unchecked while they attempted to cover it up in its initial stages and are now attempting to profit from it.
2. The American "Left" starts to move towards what they call "Left" but really starts to look like Authoritarianism. Calls for censorship of opposing thoughts become common and many who identify with the ideology increasingly begin to call for outright violence against those they disagree with.
3. A new crop of politicians spring up openly calling themselves "socialists" claiming not to be supported by corporate money but raising substantial amounts of money and being backed by tech billionaires no one has ever heard of. These politicians put a softer face on socialism and, even though the majority of Americans still don't support socialism, they've been making progress with the young and the gullible.
I wanna say it was Dianne Feinstein that had a chinese spy as her personal driver for over 20 years.
We spent years of hysteria on the idea that a weakened Russia could manipulate global events behind the scenes but no one is talking about China, a country that not only has the money, the power, the global reach, and a frightening amount of control over not just our economy but economies across the globe, could possibly be the monster the news pretended Russia was.
In fact the whole Russia thing feels like projection, and if you know anything about the modern left they're all about projection.
Remember when Obama clowned Mitt Romney for calling russia a threat? he even joked: "the 80's called and want their foreign policy back"
