lol. i hated pretty ricky when they came out because i thought they were a rap group.(i thought pleasure was just a collaborator on the track.
that just goes to show how wack the south had became by that point. when a BBD type group is mistaken for "real rappers". the sad part is, theyre by far better at rapping than ALOT of southern rap groups that came out in the past 8 years.

Are you that same dude that said that southern rappers were exposed for the sole purpose of dumbing down the intelligence of niccas?![]()
well for starters, millions of people have been saying this for nearly a decade now.
secondly, i didnt exactly say that. i came up off alot of southern music. what i said was that crunk/snap/ringtone/etc and to an extent - trap music was pushed extra hard in order to dumb down the music and culture as a whole. i saw this coming a mile away 9 years ago and they succeeded. thats why we're at where we're at now.
thats also one of the reasons why alot of people didnt like pretty ricky when they came out, because hip-hop was so watered-down by the time they debuted so they were easily mistaken for a bad rap group, when they were really just an r&b group that raps.
In high school I fukked so many bytches to that pretty ricky get u wet, juicy, grind wit me...
nikkas can say what they want about em now#RNSnikkas can say what they want about em now
but that bluestars cd shoulda came with a 30 pack of rubbers
hoes was letting nikkas fukk just because
so you think that rap should strictly be a boom bap/ west coast traditional sound thing?

You aint never lied,
I regret hating on R&B and most Hip-Hop music from 2006-2007.
So many gems released in those years,
That was quality music released then and far outweighs any type of urban-techno music released today.
I hated how I treated certain artists back then,
Jonhta Austin - Turn It Up
Ne-Yo - When You're Mad
Ciara - Promise
Mario - Crying Out For Me
J. Holiday - Suffocate
The-Dream - Shawty is a Ten
Akon Ft. Snoop Dogg - I Wanna Love You
Pretty Ricky - Grind With Me
Hell, I'll even take T-Pain's run in his prime,
No matter how much bullshyt he released you could still sense some soul in his music which what is not being released today by most artist.
Even,
Rich Boy - Throw Some D's
Hurricane Chris - Playas Ride
These songs in retrospect are better than most Hip-Hop songs released today.
I regret not cherishing these Good Music at the time that they were released,
Aint nothing but half-ass Bad Music everywhere now.
