Yakuza are the most classy and polite people if they have no business with you.

When I was much younger, I got in trouble while living in Detroit. Part of my punishment was to stay with my uncle in Chicago to go to school there. I was walking through his hood with a red headband (cooley high school colors) on and them nikkas ran up on me with the quickness. They thought I was a blood and one dude pulled out a heater. I had to talk my way out of it and convince them that I was not a threat. I seriously thought that would be the end of my life.

I wouldn't consider it "unknown" now, but prior to moving I didn't know too much about areas around Cleveland. In NY it's different, I knew cats all around the city so it was nothing. I lived in East Cleveland when I arrived (damn craigslist). Fortunately enough when I begun to learn more about the city and eventually moved, but still....

I hate being in others hoods without knowing the deal. shyt is foolish

I hit up a party on the other side of the city. But lo and behold the projects is just 5 min walk from the spot.

I parked my car near the projects and had to walk back there....after the party...in the middle of the night looking fresh.

Very stupid and slippin.

When is the last time you accidentally walked through an unknown hood (either in a new city, or a part of your city you've never been to before)? You walking around exploring at night just for the fukk of it, and then before you know it, you're like in the middle of some shady-looking spots, cats that you don't know posted up outside the bodega, etc.

Speak on it. Did you just keep walking through like you belonged, jet as soon as you realized you were in a hood area, start strutting like Ric Flair, or what?

I messed around and ended up in the middle of the Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco this past weekend. I walked past nikkaz smoking crack on the street, nikkaz selling dope, prostitutes, and a bunch of homeless folks (this was around 3 PM). It smelled like piss and sh!t. Not one person said a word to me..they are probably used to tourists getting lost there.

I guess it's not what one would consider a hood, just a seedy drug haven.
