When was the last time you saw a firefly at night?
I get bees and fireflies around my house and job.

I get bees and fireflies around my house and job.
Last time I seen one was last spring when I was smoking a J on my patio. It probably liked the weed aroma
No doubt. But as a kid, they were all over our neighborhood, even though we were in the city (Pleasant Grove in Dallas) that had the urban sprawl, city lights and all of that. Even if I go to other areas or towns with less development and more vegetation, I don't see them.
My adolescent summer nights looked like this:

I see them on occasion when I'm outside but it's definitely a noticeable decline
I used to have to watch where I walk in my yard but now I'll see maybe 3-4 bees on a daily basis

Saw one the other day, but yeah they are dying out which is incredibly dangerous for our food production.
