Nope.
Know who needs to own up? The guy who killed his family and himself. There's been thousands of people who wrestled for WWE and other companies who didn't do no shyt like that.
This is corporate apologist bullshyt fam. I don't see how you can look at their shady wellness program which he passed with flying colors every time, the culture which pressures workers to spend most of their nights on the road away from family, and their documented historical lack of thorough medical care for talent, and think WWE is innocent in fostering and enabling the environment which led to something like that happening.
You might say Benoit wrestled in other companies before WWE, but he died under Vince's watch after having worked there for 7 years. Did you know they didn't even have a wellness policy from 1996 until ten years later in 2006? Who knows what they might have prevented had they done their due diligence in actually protecting their employees sooner?
If it wasn't going to be Benoit, it would have been someone else eventually. I'm not saying WWE is entirely responsible, but for them to pretend like they were completely absolved of all wrongdoing is irresponsible. Benoit was a perpetrator of murder and also a victim of negligence.

..if youre going to do that then you gotta go after all the promotions where benoit operated in too

) but you won't see me trying to disassociate him from what he did at all.
