If you have little kids, babies, elderly relatives, disabled family members, people with severe medical conditions, etc. in your home not having water and power is a lot more than an "inconvenience". You don't know what those people have going on in their homes. It's easy to say "it could be worse, be thankful" from the outside, but when you're living it it's a lot different.

Unless you've been through it you can't understand. When Rita hit my family didn't have power for weeks.

If you have little kids, babies, elderly relatives, disabled family members, people with severe medical conditions, etc. in your home not having water and power is a lot more than an "inconvenience". You don't know what those people have going on in their homes. It's easy to say "it could be worse, be thankful" from the outside, but when you're living it it's a lot different.

I get that, but a majority of the people complaining on social media aren't fitting in that category. I've been through it too. I grew up in Florida, had my fair share of hurricanes & storms and went through Harvey in Houston a few weeks ago & was visiting Houston during Ike in 2008. I get on Facebook and I see friends back in Florida complaining how they're bored sitting inside & don't have power. They had no collateral damage at all & no family members with medical problems. They're just a bunch of entitled people who don't give a shyt about people losing their homes or the food shortages in the Caribbean. Seeing that shyt pisses me off because I have close friends who lost their cars & houses in Harvey just a few weeks ago.

Like I said, I dislike Hogan but his tweet was clearly going after the entitled crowd. Y'all reaching on the outrage on this.

I was out of power for 4 days but it could have been waaaaaaaaaay worse. I'm in South East Florida and we got extremely lucky that the Irma went west of us. It could have been so much more catastrophic down here if we got hit head on. If all I had was no power as opposed be being potentially dead then I'll take it. People have been complaining down here like spoiled lil bytches...............he's right
