Gentrification? Was Austin ever black? I’ve akways felt like Austin was the South’s version of Seattle.
Seattle and Austin have been neck and neck when it comes to the AA portion of their population for about 1/2 a century now.

I’ve been to to 39 states. San Antonio is the worst “major” city I’ve ever been too when it comes to women/ going out/ being entertained.

Just lame AF. Women are trash, people dress horribly, tried to go out at night and there was never a moment that wasn’t strange/awkward. The Mexicans their think their white

They might not have a large population of black folks but that is because it’s a new age boom tech town and didn’t grow like your typical Texas city. Austin was never big on plantations, always isolated.

But since you mentioned Seattle, they gave us Quincy Jones and Jimi Hendrix and Jet Terry. I can’t name one prominent black person to be raised in ATX

Actually Chicago gave you Quincy Jones. His family moved to Seattle.

When I heard San Antonio had whole sections that were basically spanish only , like the store products and stuff are all in spanish, i knew that shyt wasn't for me

fukk you know about Vidor? Didn’t know South Tx brehs were on here, shoutout to Refugio, Wharton and that whole region. Got a lot of cousins all thru there

I drove thru this town on the way to houston from new orleans. Had a weird vibe and we were scared to stop. I get to houston and tell my dad we rode thru some weird white town where it was bad vibes (not mentioning the city). he instantly knew it was vidor. I got back home to the east coast and started researching the city, it was wild what i read :ohhh:
Nobody care but it's kinda cool I can say I been there by accident and survived

Houston Tx
San Antonio is actually a bigger city than Austin both in size and population. Neither city is as black as Houston or Dallas but as a Texan my version of the big 3 as it pertains to Texas is Houston, Dallas, & San Antonio. Atx do go more money running thru it than SA but SA is still the bigger city/ market and contrary to what some might think there are plenty of black folk in SA. I got family on the east and north east side of town and I see plenty of us every time I’m out there visiting.

If you're black, Dallas and Houston are where it's at for big cities. Something like Killeen may fit you if you prefer that small city living.
