Some tinfoil hat shyt but im convinced that labels are taking the marketing dollars saved by dropping out of nowhere with no real promo and using it to buy their own albums. It's pretty well known that labels have been doing this type of shyt for years but now they they can save millions in marketing by using social media and the internet in general they can spend so much more buying albums to give the illusion their artists are still or becoming big stars.
