It definitely hurt Mobb Deep's street cred but "Infamy" still actually ended up going Gold but the album wasn't as strong as "Murda Muzik". Also P disease was at it's worst during this period. His rhyming and flow came off real lazy after coming off such an amazing performance on "H.N.I.C." solo album. I honestly never understand what was so bad about the picture. It was P in the late 80's as a kid dressed like MJ. I'm sorry far from a ballerina. The Irony of it all is he was dissing P for dressing like Michael Jackson then proceeds to bring out Michael Jackson, lol.

I'm Mobb for life and Jay's antics were childish but sadly "Takeover" was huge so it did hurt Mobb. It didn't help when NaS dissed P on "Destroy and rebuild".
