everyone knows KOBE is the most skilled....even players in the NBA. I'm not a Kobe stan by any means....I was anti-Kobe until 2005-2006 and swore Allen Iverson was the next Jordan especially since his shoe, urban respect, and media presence was on par with MJ.

That KG, Pierce, Allen was them talking on the phone during the summer seeing how they could come together. The People Kobe talked to and wanted to bring-in....Lakers wasn't trying to hear all that! Kobe lucked-up with with Ron Artest 2 years after he requested he be a teammate.

Pretty sure in 2007 Kobe wanted Baron Davis, Carlos Boozer, Ron Artest, or Chris Paul. Even Bron was getting mid-level players into Cleveland in order to pacify him at times....Kobe was getting shutdown.

Kobe was getting shut down cause who wanted to play with someone who chased Shaq and Phil away and thought he could do it on his own. And then for three year's and no playoff series wins he realized he needed some help. When I say the move motivated them to join forces I meant in the sense of they seen the big 3 in Boston and the Lakers with Kobe and the 3 big men and probably figured they would have the NBA on lock for the next few years unless they decided to team up. Nothing was wrong with that neither no matter what the media and fans said because I believe it's better to team up when you are at your peak instead of waiting till the end of your career to go ring chasing.

Basically. He's closer to Kobe than Clyde was to Jordan of course but the fact that Kobe has been on the NBA 1st Team every year of Wades career save for one should say something. He's the gold standard of SGs for his generation.
