Wasnt it a fairly recent rule change? Like within the last 10 years in the NFL ? I know its been a thing in college way longer. But I remember when Santonio Holmes was playing for Pittsburgh and chose 10 it was like the first year that was possible.

I actually hate that shyt :scust:

I like the classic #80s for WRs..

I don't like that college football shyt in the NFL..

Agreed. Whenever I get a receiver on Madden Franchise that wears 10-19 I immediately switch it to something in the 80s. Also hate when linebackers who are not 3-4 OLB wear numbers in the 90s.

2016 Falcons WR crop likes this thread.

:ohhh:
Now that you say it...all 6 WRs on our active roster have #11-19

11- Julio
12 - Sanu
14 - Weems
16 - Hardy
18 - Gabriel
19 - Robinson

Nick Williams (#15) is on practice squad and there's one other practice squad guy and a guy on IR with 80s

I've always liked 13 and 17. I guess odd numbers just look better than even.

I think single digit numbers in football suit DBs more than any other Non-QB position.
