DNA tests (genetic admixture tests, more specifically) are reliable only a few hundred years back. After all, if all humans come from Africa, surely whites would have African blood (according to this theory). So how do DNA tests break down 200,000 years of ancestry into a 100% scale? The answer is, they don’t. You have thousands(probably millions) of ancestors, and when you have a child, they inherit your partner’s ancestry, too. Modern science hasn’t developed yet to the point where they can trace your full ancestry. Yet the companies offering DNA tests can’t educate you on this(too much at least), because after all, it is a business, and this would make consumers more skeptical

When I see people word it the way you worded it in the OP it always feels like tricky wording to me.
We aren't more genetically related in ways that would actually make us more related in the real world. Meaning genetically we aren't related where it counts with europeans as much as we are with Somalians.
Plus too many assumptions have to be made when you just go on features,Melenesians have blonde hair blue eyes and are an older human species but more closely related to europeans and asians supposedly than africans.
Not to mention there are still other human species that existed that they still don't know about. They are trying to write the book without knowing all the details.
