caping after reading all that? disgusting
Where did I defend what was in the OP?
your statement was wrongNo answer aye? Expected![]()
your statement was wronghe has a problem with rleigion
its just your usual vague bullshyt posting where you defend god but barely state what you believe, what was there to answer?
no, you're absolutely wrong. because you cant have a problem with an invisible man in the sky who doesnt make himself known to you. but you can absolutely hav a problem with the tangible negative effects of religionIt was right my friend.
His problem isnt with religion its with God (from my perception). So I guess I take that back since I do not know all things, BUT if it was with "religion" we would see more things than "Islam" and "Christianity" which both (allegedly) deal with God Almighty, the God of Abraham. Nothing of hinduism. Nothing of any other religions that are "based off myths" that people still believe in. Sounds like a beef with God over a belief with "religion"
There was nothing vague about what I said. But you chose toand thats fine too.

of course the crusades were about power more than religion, but religion still played a major part in it. its just instance 48203948239080 of humanity being better off without religion, because the tangible negative effects far outweigh any tangible positive effectsWhy dont you seek Him instead of acting as if He owes YOU something?
But yes you can have a problem with someone does not make theirself known to you.
Of course you can. It would just be SMARTER to understand the context of why things happen. Such as the crusades was about POWER not religion. If it WAS about religion, then we would see a place in the bible where that is suggested as acceptable behavior. But we dont. In fact, its quite the opposite.

as far as god, he owes me an explanation for why there are 1000 sets of rules about who he is and how to worship him. any rational human could take a step back and realize that such a deity obviously owes us that much if he wants our devotion
Then thats it lol. I mean you cant be like the people that say the war in the middle east is about religion when its NOT. Its about power. And those IN POWER, using TOOLS (whether religion, natural resources, scapegoats/terrorism etc...) to get what they want. Thats how its always been. When you read the bible, you see there is NOTHING that supports doing what they did. But they did it anyways for the POWER. Thats free will though I would assume.
-for the 50th time, i agree with this. and religion being used as a tool for bad is NOT OUTWEIGHED by idiots taking comfort in looking at the sky and getting a fuzzy feeling
So with the world getting less "religious" at the same time the world is destroying the world continually is coincidence?
-religion is far too prominent to say that we're getting less religious and having it actually mean something
1000 sets of rules where? In the law and the prophets?
-there are a thousand religions breh![]()
