My other grandfather had to work outside of America for $$ bc he was sicilian, and he married a biracial puerto rican woman who could only get a job sowing clothes in a sweat factory. he didnt speak english. she learned it for the both of them.

Natives of puerto rico, haiti and the dominican republic were put into slavery too.
Arroyo, Puerto Rico was colonized in the mid 1800's. Prior to that, it was ONLY natives. The spaniards came with their african slaves and fukked things up.
