do you max out strength or attack first? Speed? How about defense?

Or are you balanced type of guy?

I’m curious what folks do. I feel like games reward ppl who go attack heavy in the beginning.

I'm a speed and parry and look cool as fukk while I'm flexing on enemies type, but the only games I've played like that have been Bloodborne and Nioh

:ld:

I don't really rock with RPGs if the combat ain't wavy

Depends on the mmo but I usually go for a dps build so attack first always

Edit: realized you said rpg not mmo for single player I build up defense first so I can take some hits while learning lol

If it's SMT, I usually focus on Magic and Speed.

Everything else is kind of balanced

I'm a defense/health/healing type of dude

Yeah, you might get a few hits in but how much you want to bet I'll be the last one standing :umad:

Are there any games that really reward you for going defense/health early? Like I said in the OP, most games I've played you better get your attack up first. Nothing worse than a long ass battle with an enemy where you're doing a measly 1HP damage because your character is weak af.
