Man I had to turn that joint off at halftime and go out and run some errands. It was a mess, lol. Plus Browns were working us in that joint practice. Defense got a Pick 6 so that was good. Hopefully they finish the Preseason strong against the Jets. I guess Tanner is locked in after that last game because he didn't even play.

If they were good enough to start they’d be good.
But if they are backups and get playing time, the gameplan is adjusted to protect them. And the other starters protect them.
Instead, in preseason, your best backup has to protect the worst backups.
Take Mondon for instance. If he comes into a game he’s next to Baun and behind Carter he might look like a starter. But if he’s supposed to be Baun and help make the other bench players look good, then he’ll look like he’s not up to it.
