'real' boxing fans seem like the snobbiest sports fans

im not saying they are wrong, but they talk down on casuals more than other groups of sports fans
Because boxing and MMA casuals are some of the biggest idiots in all of the sports world

The fact Mayweather-McGregor even happened proves that

But not only that, those morons actually thought McTapper had a legit chance to win against a 49-0 Top 5 boxer of all time :mjlol:

All it took was some classic Dana White promo bullshyt and that alt right homo midget Joe Rogan talking about McGregor's angles, left hand power and precision :mjlol:

As if some 0-0 bum WHO GOT OUTBOXED BY NATE DIAZ has the power to rock a man who ate Pacquiao, De La Hoya, Canelo, Maidana, Mosley, Castillo, Cotto, Corrales punches :mjlol:

They were honestly surprised when Mayweather won, I shyt you not :mjlol:

I salute UFC, Showtime and Mayweather for taking those gullible idiots money though :mjlol: No wonder Floyd came out in a ski mask :mjlol:

I won't salute McCac because we all know Dana White took 70% of his purse, ole King-Arum special:mjlol:

rightfully so, most casuals are ignorant as fukk. With combat sports especially, if you don't know enough to form an educated opinion, it's best to STFU. Too many people fail to realize that they should STFU :manny:

I thought Mosley was gonna get him there... maybe not a KO but a knockdown at least. I imagine that even if just a knockdown happened but Mayweather went on to win a decision, we would've seen 2 or 3 fights between them :heh:

Just re-watched the fight a couple days ago

All I hear is "If Mosley was in his prime or if he stayed on him, he would have finished Floyd". Nothing more than wishful "what-if" banter from Mayweather antagonists.

Shane didn't exactly gas out until a couple rounds later. He was very fresh and spry in the early rounds. Add to the fact that Floyd had a solid chin, strong lower body, and balance unmatched by any other active fighter aside from Hopkins and Ward. Most other fighters would have gone down from that shot.
People who say that just don't understand boxing. It boggled my mind when I heard (and still do hear) people talking about it like Mosley could have easily finished Floyd if he wasn't old, or he just "lost focus" and magically took his foot off the gas. A lot of boxing fans only understand boxing in it's simplest terms, ie "guy punch guy, guy knock out guy, ect". Anybody who has any real understand of boxing knows that Floyd got hurt and instantly made the necessary adjustments.

1:22 -Seems like he's going to the body as a decoy, Floyd dressed down in defence.
1:16 So Shane loops a bomb over hand, Floyd knees buckle like a MF! Most would have fallen.

Floyd tries to grab, had no c strength to, so he backs to the ropes as Shane throws 2 rights that miss the mark. Then to the body.

This shot and the one earlier in the round shows/proves why Floyd has never been dropped. Just a standing 8 count when his glove scraped the canvas.

Floyd shook it off. IMO Shane's body language was "well...that was my best"

floyd also told him '' thats not enough, you're gonna have to kill me'

Floyd showed just how smart he was in that situation.
Floyd showed levels more than anything, once touched, he went into kill mode, a complete zone, he rarely feels the need to go to into a fight, he showed this Canelo and vs Chino(to a lesser degree, who took Floyd to the ledge in both matches and had to fight for his life there)

@Brozay made a good observation.

The response?

“The reason WE are jerks is because THEY make us act that way with their wrong opinions”

:mjlol:

Its happening in this thread right now :merchant:

Its just overly aggressive with how they will talk down on casuals. I've gone to / watched plenty of basketball/baseball games with people who are maybe even less than casuals - could you imagine if I talked down on them and got all :fire: every time they made an observation :skip:

I guess it makes sense given the nature of 'combat' sports tbh

the 'observations' in other sports are common sense

in combat sports you got people really talking about how ronda rousey is the best striker ever because she knocked out a soccer mom :dead: its like seeing drummond hit a free throw and people making comparisons to dirk

Mosley wasn't nearly as stiff when he was younger. He was more fluid and put combinations together better, and faster.

This would have increased his chances of knocking Floyd out. However nothing is guaranteed.
