I don't know about that. I'm a charismatic hood nikka and I was surrounded by other charismatic hood nikkas. They're not that rare.
But they do look at dudes funny when they're not used to them.
Exactly, and some nikkas are just negative and don't like to see happy people or people having fun. For some it irks them to see somebody who is just being happy and not taking themselves too seriously. Its dudes in the hood who will literally consider you a goofy for being too jokey and not want you around. Its kind of understandable because if they are living a street life, they want to know they only have dudes around them that have a kill or be killed mentality and won't fold. And if you are "goofy/funny" the perception can be that thats not you. But at the same times its hella "goofy" nikkas in the hood that will split your wig

. And its dudes highly feared/respected for being street when in reality they were just crash dummies trying to look cool. As well as street dudes who take themselves extra serious because they are try hards.
Basically the issue is there is a difference in being "goofy" and being a "goofie".Please be yourself at all times,I was always goofy and I like to think I helped nikkas around me lighten up. Tension is one of the leading causes of death in the hood. A bunch of nikkas in one space all pretending to be hard and tough as nails to keep nikkas from trying them, causes alot of the shyt we see. On the down side you are likely to be tried at some point,by the first type of cat I talked about who doesn't like people having fun around them.
